Dr Weber Huang is an Australian-trained specialist in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. With medical and dental degrees earned in Australia, Dr Huang has worked extensively in private dental practice and hospital residencies across medicine and surgery. During his advanced surgical training, he achieved the esteemed FRACDS(OMS) fellowship in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery.
Dr Huang’s expertise is further enhanced by post-fellowship training at the Royal Children’s Hospital, Melbourne, where he gained significant experience in treating cleft and craniofacial deformities.
Currently, he serves as a Consultant Staff Specialist at Westmead Hospital and as an academic staff member at the University of Sydney’s Faculty of Dentistry, mentoring the next generation of surgeons and dentists.
Outside of work, Dr Huang enjoys quality time with his wife Angela and son, exploring Sydney Harbour. A music enthusiast since his time at the Conservatorium High School, he still finds joy in playing piano and violin, though he often prefers listening to the Sydney Symphony Orchestra.
Dr Eric Carter brings a wealth of experience gained across Australia, Hong Kong, and Singapore, spanning nearly five decades in oral surgery.
Since graduating from Sydney University, he has worked in trauma and cosmetic surgery, including years as a Consultant Surgeon in private practice in Hong Kong and later as Senior Clinical Specialist at Sydney Dental Hospital.
Dr Carter’s commitment to education has seen him establish surgical training programs, contributing to the development of the University of Sydney’s Graduate Diploma in Oral Surgery. His international expertise and ongoing dedication to patient care make him a vital member of the team.
Outside of the clinic, Dr Carter enjoys rowing, sailing, and hiking and serves as a Patron of the Sydney University Boat Club, supporting student-athletes with his love of sport and dedication to education.
With over three decades of experience as an Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeon, Associate Professor Bruce Austin has been a pillar of expertise in New South Wales since 1991.
He began his career at the University of Queensland, followed by service in the Royal Australian Air Force. His extensive training included roles at the University of Sydney and distinguished institutions in London, culminating in multiple advanced qualifications, including the FRACDS (OMS).
Dr Austin’s clinical interests span all aspects of oral and maxillofacial surgery, including oral medicine and implant dentistry. He has held public hospital appointments at Prince of Wales and Sydney Children’s Hospital and has played a significant role in education, lecturing widely and mentoring dental professionals at undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
Beyond his professional life, Dr Austin is a devoted husband and father of three daughters. He enjoys music, travel, reading, and cycling, balancing his personal passions with his dedication to his field.
Now retired, Dr Alastair Stevenson has left an enduring legacy at Vintage Surgical Specialists. With a career spanning decades, his contributions to oral surgery and dental implants have been profound.
After graduating from King’s College, London, and earning multiple fellowships and advanced degrees, Dr Stevenson worked worldwide, including in Kenya and Australia.
Dr Stevenson was a pioneer in implant surgery, serving as the co-founder of implant training at the University of Sydney.
While enjoying his retirement, he remains a passionate advocate for exploration and enjoys birdwatching and growing Kalamata olives in the Southern Highlands.
